We were first asked to provide reports and documents for repair on the 515 Tower Parking Structure in downtown Salt Lake City. We discussed quality control and budget concerns within our structural department and with the client, and then the client asked if we could also manage the construction phase of the project. From there, we assisted with project bidding, observations during construction, and contract administration.

We invited three reputable contractors to bid on the project and arranged to spread the work over three to five years, giving priority to the more critical items. As the project moves along, we have provided weekly site observations to the owner and liaised between the contractor and owner, highlighting the importance of construction administration in long projects!
