The Jordan Valley Water Conservancy District expanded their “Slow the Flow” campaign in an effort to encourage residents to conserve water. The expansion of the campaign included a fun addition — a landscape makeover for two customer residences. The current lawns included large lawns and not many other plants, and the challenge was to change the lawns to a design that could conserve water and would include less watering!
Our team rose to the challenge and we won! We replaced the lawn with drought-tolerant plants, a dry river bed, and raised planters. We also included a new updated drip irrigation system to maximize the water efficiency and conversation. The end result was something the families could enjoy for years — and one that would save water!
