Being “green” and having sustainable materials is important in many fields today, particularly construction and civil engineering.

The importance of sustainable construction comes from its potential to address several environmental concerns associated with construction activities. These include the generation of waste materials, emissions from large construction vehicles and heavy machinery, noise pollution caused by the heavy vehicles and equipment as well as the release of possible pollutants into water bodies, soil and the atmosphere.

Being “green” and using alternative building materials, 3D modeling, laser scanning and other new technologies can help limit project times (and costs!) and make civil engineering projects, like ours, more sustainable.
