The Wilmington Avenue Apartments, located in Salt Lake City, had a design that featured five levels of apartments, two levels of commercial space, and one level of underground parking. To accomplish this design, we used CAD software and analytical and physical software for Building Information Modeling (BIM).
During construction, we used masonry for the retail spaces, timber for the townhouses, and 2x timber for the apartment spaces. Our goal for this project was to help revitalize the Sugarhouse community with public spaces for gatherings, retail spaces for small businesses, and provide affordable housing for the community. We believe we accomplished that goal and we had a great time completing this project!
